The Interlocutory Application No. 10700 of 2021 in the matter above-mentioned along with Office Report dated 10.07.2021 was listed before the  Hon'ble Court, on 12th July, 2021, when the Court was pleased to pass the following order:

" IA No. 10700 of 2021 

 As requested, Mr. Vikas Upadhyay, learned Advocate-on-Record, is discharged from this case. Mr. Sumeer Sodhi, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the applicant, has informed us that at least six months is required for the Special Committee to complete its task of verification of Certificate of Advocates. We must remind the Committee and particularly, the Advocate General, who heads the Committee, that two extensions of six months each have already been granted by the Bar Council of India for an election which should have been held wayback in 2020. The second extension has, in fact, expired on 02.02.2021. 

 Given these facts, the Advocate General is directed by us, as head of the Committee, together with the other Committee Members to complete the verification process within a period of three months from today. A report be submitted to this Court within three months. 

 List immediately thereafter."

Accordingly, certified copy of the Hon'ble Court's Order quoted above was issued to the concerned High Court and the Bar Council on 24.07.2021 through registered A.D. Post and also through e-mail.

It is submitted that Mr. Sumeer Sodhi, Counsel for the State Bar Council of Chhattisgarh has on 08.10.2021 filed a compliance affidavit in terms of Order dated 12.07.2021 on behalf of the State Bar Council of Chhattisgarh along with an Application for exemption from filing Official Translation. The Application has been registered as Interlocutory Application No. 132357 of 2021. Copy of the document and the Application have been placed along with the Paper Books of the Transferred Case for kind perusal of the Hon'ble Court.

It is further submitted that Mr. Gautam Das, Advocate has on 07.08.2021 filed Vakalatnama & Memo of Appearance on behalf of Mr. Sushanta Kumar Das who is enrolled with the Bar Council of Odisha with Applications for Impleadment as party respondent with Affidavit. The Application has been registered as Interlocutory Application No. 95062 of 2021 and the same has been placed along with the paper books of the Transferred Case for kind perusal of the Hon'ble Court. The Counsel has also filed an application for Direction. The unregistered Interlocutory Application Diary No. 95063 of 2021 has been placed along with the paper books of the Transferred Case for kind perusal of the Hon'ble Court.

It is again submitted that Ms. Radhika Gautam, Advocate has on 08.04.2022 filed Vakalatnama and memo of appearance on behalf of Respondent No. 2, i.e., Bar Council of India.

Service of notice is complete.

The Applications above-mentioned are listed before the Hon'ble Court with this Office Report.
