1. This Hon'ble Court, on 01-07-2019 (notice issue date), has been pleased to pass the following order:

This matter was lastly listed on 18-09-2025 and the Hon'ble Court was pleased to pass the following order:

" We have been assisted by learned counsel for the parties and also the learned Amicus Curiae/Court Commissioner. 

 2. The Court notes that there is agreement among the parties that things have substantially moved on the ground and now a shape has taken which requires to be taken forward. 

3. We have also been informed by the learned counsel for the Department of Archeology, Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi (GNCTD) that he has filed a report. However, as it was filed yesterday, the same is not available in the file as of now.

4. Learned counsel for the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) submits that he has also filed his affidavit yesterday and the same is also not on record.

 5. Learned senior counsel for the petitioner submits that he has also filed his suggestions. 

 6 Since all the three documents are not on record, Registry to locate and place the same on record physically and digitally. 

 7. Mr. S.D.Sanjay, learned Additional Solicitor General submits that representing the Union of India, he has taken a lead in the matter and is trying to sort out the differences among the parties at his level and he has got cooperation from all the sides and, at present, there are no major issues which requires intervention by the Court. 

 8. Having regard to the aforesaid and keeping in mind what has been informed to us by learned Additional Solicitor General, that in the report submitted by the Department of Archeology,  GNCTD there is phase-wise action plan enumerated, we expect that the same would be carried out and taken to their logical conclusion expeditiously and as per the time limit indicated. 

 9. The matter be listed on 2nd December, 2025 at 3.00 p.m. 10. By the next date, reports shall be submitted by all the parties with regard to the up-to-date position. "
