This Hon'ble Court, on 18th March, 2021, was pleased to pass the following order:
"In Writ Petition (C) No.84/2021, this Court is considering the relief by which priority is sought in favour of the members of the legal profession for the administration of COVID-19 vaccine.
We have before us two transfer petitions viz., T.P.(C) no.560/2021 and T.P.(C) No.571/2021 arising out of a Suo Moto Writ Petition pending before the Delhi High Court. Since the issues pending before this Court is same as the one pending before the Delhi High Court, we are of the considered view that the matter(s) viz., Writ Petition (C) No.2944/2021 titled as "Courts on its own Motion vs. Union of India & Ors., pending before the Delhi High Court should be transferred to this Court.
Mr. Harish Salve, learned Senior Counsel appearing for the petitioner, seeks permission to amend the prayer(s) to include a prayer for transfer of similar matters pending in other High Courts.
Permission as sought for is granted.
Issue notice both in the instant transfer petitions and the interlocutory application for impleadment being I.A. No.40616 of 2021 in SLP(C) No.4327/2021, returnable next week.
In the meantime, there shall be a stay of further proceedings in Writ Petition (C) No.2944/2021 titled as "Courts on its own Motion vs. Union of India & Ors., pending before the Delhi High Court.
List these matters next week."
It is submitted that pursuant to Order quoted above, show cause notice on application for impleadment was issued to respondent Nos. 1 to 4 by speed post on 22.03.2021 and to sole petitioner through Advocate Mr. E. C. Agrawala, Advocate by e-mail but he has not filed reply on the application so far. As per India Post Tracking Report, notice has been delivered to respondent Nos. 1 to 3 but no one has entered appearance on their behalf and service of notice is awaited in respect of respondent No.4.
Service is not complete on respondent No. 4.
The matter along with application above-mentioned is listed before the Hon'ble Court with this Office Report.
