1. This Writ Petition has been filed by Mr. SRIRAM P. Advocate on-Record on 24-07-2025, praying therein as under:

"A. The petition is seeking a Writ or other suitable orders to:

. Declare that the political parties are covered by the ambit of the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition, and Redressal) Act, 2013 (POSH Act).

. Declare that the political parties are bound to follow the procedures outlined in the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition, and Redressal) Act, 2013 (POSH Act).

. Pass appropriate and necessary guidelines directing the political parties to comply with the POSH Act's provisions for protecting women in the workplace, to constitute an Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) to address complaints of sexual harassment in adherence of the mandate of the Prevention of Sexual Harassment at the Workplace Act, 2013.

. Ensure a safe and inclusive work environment for women in political parties.

. Hold political parties accountable for preventing and addressing sexual harassment; or

B) Issue a Writ of Mandamus or any other suitable writ, order or direction to constitute a Grievance redressal mechanism to tackle the menace of sexual harassment as per the directions of the Hon'ble Supreme Court in Vishaka v. State of Rajasthan [(1997) 6 SCC 241] and in accordance with the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013; and

C) Issue a Writ of Mandamus or any other suitable writ, order or direction to declare that political workers/candidates are 'employees' under Section 2(f) of the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013; and

D) Issue a Writ of Mandamus or any other suitable writ, order or direction to declare that political workers/candidates are ˜employer™ under Section 2(g) of the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013;"
