1. This Writ Petition has been filed by Mr. VANSHDEEP DALMIA Advocate on-Record, on 21-02-2025, praying therein as under:

"a) Issue an appropriate Writ in the nature of Certiorari quashing the Impugned Notification dated 29.01.2025 and the Impugned OM dated 30.01.2025 being violative of Article 21 of the Constitution of India and Ultra Vires the provisions
of the EP Act, 1986 & the EP Rules, 1986; and

b) Issue an appropriate Writ in the nature of Certiorari quashing the Impugned Notification dated 29.01.2025 and the
Impugned OM dated 30.01.2025 being violative of the principle of Non-regression, Sustainable development and
precautionary principle; and

c) Issue an appropriate Writ in the nature of Certiorari quashing the Impugned Notification dated 29.01.2025 and the
Impugned OM dated 30.01.2025 being violative of Article 14 of the Constitution of India having been issued in a
arbitrarily, capricious manner, without application of mind and bereft of any rationale or reason; and

d) Issue an appropriate Writ in the nature of Mandamus directing the Respondent to follow the principle of Nonregression in both letter and spirit and not to dilute or relax environmental norms without any reasonable basis; and "
